Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. It deletes the shared household for every adult member, including all child records. Children are managed records; they do not have separate Sage for Home accounts.
Delete from the account settings
- Select Sign in to account settings below.
- Sign in with the adult owner account. Complete two-factor or passkey verification if requested.
- Open Settings, then Account & privacy → Data & privacy.
- Select Delete account….
- Enter the current password and select Permanently delete everything.
What deletion removes
The deletion request removes the household’s personal data from Sage’s active systems, including:
- this household’s membership data and adult account data that is not still needed for another household;
- child profiles and other family records;
- reminders, groceries, meals, activities, school days, calendar events, and carpool data;
- Family Binder, Family Wallet, health-reference, image, and document data;
- budget data, imported account balances and transactions, and stored Plaid connection tokens;
- Sage conversation, memory, AI action, and response-report data associated with the household; and
- calendar connections, notification subscriptions, and native-device push registrations.
If a Plaid bank connection exists, Sage attempts to revoke the provider connection before erasing local financial records. If revocation or another required deletion step fails, Sage does not claim the deletion succeeded and the owner can safely retry.
Before you delete
- Use Download my data in Settings first if you want a copy. You cannot export the household after deletion.
- If you have an active subscription purchased on the Sage website, Sage cancels it before deleting your account. If Stripe cannot confirm cancellation, deletion stops and your account remains available so you can retry. Account deletion is not a refund request.
- Encrypted disaster-recovery backups may retain a protected copy for up to 90 days. Those backups are not available for normal use and are removed on the backup schedule.
- Limited de-identified security, fraud-prevention, dispute, tax, or legal-compliance records may be retained when required.
Can’t sign in or deletion did not complete?
The signed-in path above is the primary deletion method. If you cannot access the account or the in-app deletion reports an error, email [email protected]. Support will verify that you control the account before helping complete the request.
For your security, never send your password, authenticator code, recovery code, passkey, or bank credentials by email.
Sage for Home is not a medical service or medical device and does not provide medical advice. Deleting reference information from Sage does not notify a doctor, pharmacy, school, insurer, or emergency contact.
