By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time; your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not accept these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
Sage for Home is an AI-assisted household-coordination application designed for parents and adult household members. The Service includes:
/api/account/export and DELETE /api/account.The Service is available as a Progressive Web App (PWA) at mysagecompanion.com and is provided on an "as-is" basis.
The Service is intended exclusively for adults who are 18 years of age or older. By registering for an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide is accurate and complete. If you are under 18, you may not use the Service.
Adults may enter information about their own minor children (such as names, activities, allergies, and school schedules) under the parent's or guardian's own account. Children are records, not users; they do not have accounts and cannot log in.
To create an account, you will provide:
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We offer optional two-factor authentication (TOTP) for additional account security, which we encourage you to enable.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of others. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms at any time, with or without prior notice and without refund.
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. After the trial period, continued access to paid features requires a paid subscription.
Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS-compliant third-party payment processor. We do not store your credit card details. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to your selected plan. You agree to keep your payment information current and accurate.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features through the end of your paid period.
We offer pro-rated refunds for subscriptions cancelled within 30 days of the initial charge. After 30 days, no refunds are issued, but you may cancel to prevent future charges. To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] within 30 days of the charge. Refunds are credited to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
The Service allows adults to store household care information (such as medication names, allergy notes, and doctor contact information) for reference and organizational purposes only. Nothing in the Service — including any suggestion, reminder, or AI-generated response from Sage — constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a clinical recommendation. Sage is not a doctor, nurse, dietitian, or healthcare provider of any kind.
For any health concern affecting you or your children, always consult a qualified healthcare professional (such as a physician or pediatrician). Do not rely on the Service for:
Sage Companion LLC is NOT a HIPAA-covered entity. The Service is not HIPAA-compliant. Do not use the Service as a substitute for a HIPAA-compliant health record system. You should not enter Protected Health Information (PHI) into the Service if HIPAA compliance is required for your situation.
If you or anyone in your household is experiencing a medical emergency, call emergency services (911 in the United States) immediately. Do not use the Service for emergency assistance.
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including software, design, text, graphics, and code — are the exclusive property of Sage Companion LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your household's personal use. You may not:
Content you enter into the Service (such as household notes, grocery lists, children's activity schedules, and care binder entries) remains your property. By providing content to the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy carefully to understand our data practices, including how we use third-party service providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Stripe, Resend, Supabase, Google, and Apple.
By using the Service, you consent to the terms of our Privacy Policy.
Your account information, household data, children's profiles, care binder entries, and calendar data are stored securely in Supabase, our cloud database provider. Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest.
You may export your data at any time using the in-app export feature (/api/account/export) and
delete your account through your account settings or by sending a DELETE /api/account request.
When you delete your account:
If you cancel your subscription without deleting your account, your data is retained according to our Privacy Policy and these Terms. You may export or delete your data at any time.
We maintain backups for security and disaster-recovery purposes. Your data may persist in backup archives for up to 90 days after account deletion but will not be used for any purpose and is not accessible during that period.
The Service is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
In no event shall Sage Companion LLC's total liability for all claims exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The Service integrates with third-party services including Anthropic (AI), OpenAI (TTS voice), Stripe (billing), Resend (email), Supabase (database), Google (Analytics and Calendar), and Apple (Calendar). We are not responsible for the performance, availability, security, or privacy practices of these third-party services. Your use of these services is also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at [email protected].
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you:
Upon termination, all licenses and rights granted to you will immediately cease. Data retention practices described in Section 9 apply. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including Sections 6, 7, 10, and 13.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to you by email or by prominent notice within the Service before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after modifications are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you may export your data and delete your account before the effective date of the change.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any legal action relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be brought exclusively in courts located in the State of Illinois, and you irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
